networked systems in small and large installations.
- Extensive experience can be drawn on for DOS and Windows (3.1, 3.11 and '95)
stand-alone and peer-to-peer systems, as well as server-based
systems such as NT Server v4.0 and Novell (2.x, 3.x and 4.1)
Also a wide range of applications from the
major suppliers, internal email and links to the internet.
- Defining the technical requirement to suit the needs
of the business, and the targets for improvement.
- Planning and designing installations and networks, and
preparing fully costed options, allowing for the need for
adaptability and growth, as well as short and long term
funding.
- Conducting or supervising preparations and installations,
and ensuring tight control of all project activity.
- Independent purchasing advice and support. WE DO NOT
SELL OUR OWN EQUIPMENT or have financial interests in
any other supplier, so we have no incentive to prefer
a particular product or source of supply other than on technical and
cost-efficiency grounds.
- System configuration, setting up and training at all levels
for users, managers and support staff.
- Ongoing support on a scheduled basis or on-call, with dial-in capability,
as best suits the needs and existing resources of each client.
