WELSH LOCAL OMBUDSMAN
The office of the Local Ombudsman for Wales was created to investigate complaints against certain local authorities in Wales. Any member of the public who has sustained personal injustice as a result of the administrative failure of an authority may complain to the Ombudsman. Also, a group of individuals, a firm or a company may use this service.

The Ombudsman can receive complaints against any of the following:

County and County Borough Councils.
National Park Authorities.
Police Authorities (not the Police).
The Land Authority for Wales.
National Rivers Authority (flood defence only).
Joint Authorities.
Education Appeal Committees.

Any complaint must be addressed in writing to:
